DAY 1 : Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu >
Airport pick up by our guide to a hotel situated in the heart of Thamel, one of the busiest and popular markets in Kathmandu. Kindly inform us your time of arrival. Our guide will brief you on the trip information and bring you to the best eateries/ shopping at your request.
DAY 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara >
Take a 6-7 hour morning bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a scenic city known for its lakes and panaromic view of the mountains. You’ll reach in the evening and you can do some light exploring around the lakeside filled with both modern and traditional cafes and restaurants. Enjoy a nice and chill evening before the trek next morning.
DAY 3 : Fly to Jomsom–Kagbeni >
Maximum height: 2700m | 3-4 hours of walking
You will take an early morning flight to Jomsom which is famous for its apples, valleys and beautiful landscape. On our trek, we will pass through Eaklibatti village before reaching Kagbeni village.
DAY 4 : Kagbeni–Chele >
Maximum height: 3050m | 3-4 hours of walking
You will trek on a trail alongside the Kali Gandaki River. You will walk on sandy roads amidst strong winds before ascending on a hill. Along the way, you’ll pass through white-washed houses, barley and buckwheat fields, and apple orchards. After crossing the river, you will arrive at Chele.
DAY 5 : Chele–Syanbochen >
Maximum height: 3735m | 6-7 hours of walking
This trail is quite exhausting as you will cross two passes–Taklam La (3,624m) and Dajori La (3,735). On your way, you can see spectacular views of Tilicho, Yakawa Kang and Damodar Danda and pass by Ramchung Cave. After that, you will descend further to Syanboche.
DAY 6 : Syanbochen–Ghami >
Maximum height: 4010m | 5-6 hours of walking
You will cross Yamda La pass at 3,850m and then trek through poplar forests and barley fields. You will then cross over Nyi Pass at 4,010m. From here, you will descend to Ghami which is one of the biggest villages in the Lo region.
DAY 7 : Ghami–Tsarang >
Maximum height: 3870m | 5 – 6 hours of walking
You will descend steadily before crossing a suspension bridge over the Ghami Khola and begin ascending. The pathway is beautiful with mani walls along the trail. Next, you will cross the Tsarang La Pass and reach Tsarang village.
DAY 8 : Tsarang to Lo-Manthang >
Maximum height: 3950m | 3-4 hours of walking
After the canyon, you will cross a river before an uphill trek to Lo La pass. From the top of the pass, you can admire the beautiful Lo Manthang village and the Himalayas including Nilgiri, Tilicho and Annapurna I and Bhrikuti Peak.
DAY 9 : Acclimatization at Lo Manthang >
You will need your much needed rest after the strenuous climb the past few days. At Lo Manthang, you will spend the day touring three major gompas of the town namely Jhampa, Thupchen and Chhoeda. You can also go on a little excustion to Tingkhar, a beautiful village located north-west of Lo-Mangthang.
DAY 10 : Lo-Mangthang–Drakmar >
Maximum height: 3810 | 6-7 hours of walking
Descending Lo-Manthang, your trail passes through Gyakar village which houses a century old Ghar Gompa with beautiful rock paintings. According to a local legend, anyone who makes a wish at the Gompa will have it fulfilled. You will explore the Gompa and continue walking towards Drakmar .

DAY 11 : Drakmar–Ghiling >
Maximum height: 3806m | 5-6 hours of walking
You will pass through a dry plateau and fields before reaching Ghiling. The walk can be relatively difficult as you will have to endure the strong winds and sand along the flat terrain.
DAY 12 : Ghiling–Chhuksang >
Maximum height: 3050m | 5-6 hours of walking
You will find this route familiar as we retrace our steps upon desending. On the way to Chhuksang we can enjoy great views of the Himalayas and small villages.
DAY 13 : Chhuksang–Jomsom >
Maximum height: 2700m | 6-7 hours of walking
This trail is a long one and coverge with the Annapurna circuit trail towards the end. After lunch at Kagbeni, you will continue our trek to Jomsom for an overnight stay.
DAY 14 : Bhimphedi - Tilje >
Maximum height: 2300m | 8-9 hours of walking
After a difficult day, you will take a gentle walk towards Karcher La pass and pass through fig trees and rhododendron forests to reach Tilje.
DAY 15 : Jonsom – Pokhara >
Congratulations for completing the trek! You will take an early morning flight to Pokhara. In Pokhara, you can spend the rest of the day in leisure.
DAY 16 : Pokhara–Kathmandu >
Catch the early bus to Kathmandu and stay the night in Kathmandu. You deserve a celebratory dinner before you depart for home. Check with your guide for dining recommendation
DAY 17 : Departure >
Do some last minute shopping or take your own sweet time in Kathmandu before you depart for home. Our guide will drop you at the airport.
